Why I built this
My daughter Ava is a good student. She'd work with her mom and dad going through flashcards before tests — and it worked. But sometimes she'd get frustrated. Same cards, same routine, over and over.
One morning after a review session I couldn't stop thinking: there has to be a more fun, more creative way to go through a study guide. That same day I built a prototype. Two days later I showed it to her.
“How did you do that?”
— Ava
She's used AvaStudy on every study guide since and has gotten perfect to near-perfect grades. That's where the name comes from. If it can help others the way it's helped Ava, that's what it's for.

How it works
Your child uploads a study guide — a photo of their notes, a PDF, or pasted text. The content comes from their teacher's actual material.
AI extracts the key concepts — from that material, not general knowledge — and builds 11 games from it. If it gets a term or question wrong, your child can fix it in a couple of taps.
They practice, earn coins, and level up their pet — the game mechanics keep kids engaged without any real-money purchases.
The app targets what they keep missing — it tracks their confidence on each concept and brings the weak ones back, spaced out, until they're solid. Not the same list every time.
Does it actually help them learn?
The games are the hook; the learning comes from what's underneath. AvaStudy scores your child's confidence on every concept in their guide and uses spaced repetition— the study method with the strongest research behind it — to resurface the ones they haven't locked in. A concept they've mastered spaces out; one they start missing comes back. Their Daily Challenge and Practice sessions are assembled from their own weak spots, so the time they spend is aimed at what's actually still shaky before the test.
Your child sees it too — a topic-by-topic view of what they've mastered and what still needs work, so studying feels like progress they can point to rather than a wall of cards.
