AvaStudy is a personal study app. By using it, you agree to these simple terms.

Who Can Use This App

This app is intended for personal, non-commercial use by students. A student who is 13 or older can create their own account. A student who is 12 or under cannot: a parent or guardian creates the account for them (see If You Create an Account for a Child, below). Parents and teachers must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your age or for your confirmation that you are 18 or older when you sign up, and by creating an account you confirm that what you told us is true and that you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Your Content

When you upload study guides or notes, that content stays yours. We use it only to generate your flashcards and games. It is never sold, and it is shared only with the service providers that help build your games, as described in the Privacy Policy.

AvaStudy — including the app, software, design, and branding — is owned by its developers. These terms do not transfer any ownership of the app or its systems to you.

AI-Generated Content

Study content generated by AvaStudy is created by an AI and may occasionally contain mistakes, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. You should review generated flashcards and questions before relying on them for studying or schoolwork.AvaStudy is a study aid, not a substitute for your own notes or your teacher's materials. A guide made from a topic you type is written by the AI from that topic alone, not from your notes, so check important facts before relying on it. When an upload is a list of questions without answers, the AI may write the answers from general knowledge; the guide says so, and those answers did not come from your class materials, so check them against your notes, your textbook or your teacher's content.

If You Create an Account for a Child

A parent or guardian can create an account for a child. By doing so you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, that you are at least 18, and that you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy on the child's behalf, including how we collect and use the child's information. You are responsible for the child's use of the account, for keeping their sign-in code or QR code private, and for choosing what is uploaded for the child, whether by the child or by you. You can review the child's progress, ask us to correct or delete their information, or delete their account at any time, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining access to the account you use to sign in (your Google account, or the email address we send your sign-in link to), and for all activity that occurs under your AvaStudy account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us immediately.

If You Use AvaStudy With a Class

A teacher account can create a class, invite students with a join code, and assign study guides. If you set up a class, you confirm that you have the authority to enroll those students in a study tool and that you have obtained any parental or guardian consent required by your school, district, or applicable law (including COPPA and FERPA where they apply). You are responsible for how you use the progress information AvaStudy shows you about your students.

What a teacher can see about a student in a class is limited to that class and is described in our Privacy Policy. A student may leave a class at any time.

Subscriptions & Billing

AvaStudy offers a free plan (currently 3 study guide uploads, per the free-plan allowance shown in the app) and a paid subscription, AvaStudy Unlimited, which adds unlimited uploads and additional study tools (including practice tests and a study plan), available monthly or yearly, at $6.99/month or $59.99/year. A separate paid tier, AvaStudy Family, covers Unlimited for up to 4 linked child accounts under one subscription at $13.99/month or $119.99/year, and allows a second parent or guardian to link to the same child. Subscription features and pricing may change over time; a price in effect when you subscribe continues to apply for as long as your subscription remains active without interruption.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing period you choose — monthly or yearly — and renew automatically at the same interval until canceled.
• Billing is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
• You may cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain unlimited access until then.
• If a payment does not go through, Unlimited is paused until it is fixed. Your study guides and progress stay saved, and Unlimited turns back on as soon as the payment is collected. You can update your payment method from Settings → Subscription, and the payment processor may retry the charge automatically.
• Deleting the app from your device does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Settings → Subscription or through your platform's billing management.
• We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
• We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. A price change does not affect your current billing period, and if you subscribed at an earlier price you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active without interruption.
• An AvaStudy Family subscription is billed to and managed by the parent account that purchased it. A child account is covered only while linked to that parent from Settings → Family. Unlinking a child ends that child's Unlimited coverage from that parent right away; canceling the Family subscription ends coverage when the subscription ends.

Acceptable Use

Please use AvaStudy only for studying. Features described as unlimited, including the Study Tutor on AvaStudy Unlimited, are for ordinary studying and are subject to a fair-use daily limit that is set well above normal use; it exists only to protect the service from automated or abusive use. The following are not allowed:

• Uploading content that is harmful, offensive, or belongs to someone else without permission
• Attempting to abuse, overload, or disrupt the service
• Attempting to access another user's data or account
• Using the app for any unlawful purpose
• Uploading malicious files or attempting to interfere with the app's systems

Coins & Rewards

Coins, Season Stars, pets, accessories, badges, and other in-app rewards are earned by studying. They have no cash value, cannot be bought with real money, sold, or transferred to another account, and are not property you own. We may adjust, add, or retire rewards, prices, and seasons over time.

Magical Packs are opened with coins you earned by studying. Each pack reveals a pet chosen at random from a fixed set, and the odds are shown before you open one. Once you own every pet in a pack, further packs pay coins instead. Coins never affect what you can study or how the app teaches.

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, go to Settings → Parents & Safety → Delete Account and confirm. Your personal data — including your profile, progress, game history, study sets, classes you own, and pet — will be permanently and immediately erased, apart from the limited records described in the Privacy Policy (such as an anonymous leaderboard score and required payment records). This action cannot be undone.

If you have an active subscription, it will be automatically canceled when you delete your account. No further charges will occur after the deletion date.

Availability & Termination

We do our best to keep AvaStudy reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the app or that all generated content will always be accurate or available. The app is provided as-is.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
