AvaStudy for teachers and schools
Teachers turn the worksheets, slides and notes they already use into 20+ review games, run classes with a join code, assign guides with due dates, and see who is ready for the test. Any teacher can start free today, and your school can ask us for pricing.
What every teacher gets today
20+ games from their own material
A teacher photographs a worksheet, uploads a PDF (slides saved as a PDF work too), or pastes notes, and AvaStudy builds review games from that exact content, not from general knowledge. Any guide can be edited before it is assigned.
Classes with a join code
Up to 40 students per class. Students enter the code once and every guide the teacher assigns lands in their library. There is no roster file to import.
Assignments with due dates
Assign a guide to a class with a due date and a turn-in bar. Students are alerted when it is assigned and see a homework banner that tracks their progress. Late work still counts and is marked late.
Live games on the projector
Start a live game from any guide; students join on their own devices with a code or QR, with a scoreboard between questions. Guests can join a live game without an account.
Who is ready, and who is stuck
Each assignment has a completion grid with best scores, time on task and the concepts the class misses most, plus a concept-by-concept grid per student. Export to CSV or print.
Reports for students and families
A printable progress report for each student. A parent who links to their child’s account sees homework status and gets a weekly progress email with a homework section.
Schools and programs
K-12 public, private and charter schools
Teachers run their own classes, assign guides built from the worksheets they already use, and host live review. The grade picker runs from kindergarten through high school, and students who join a teacher’s class never pay to play the guides shared with them.
Ask About Pricing →Homeschool co-ops and tutoring centers
A co-op leader or tutor can run a class for each group, assign the same guide to several groups and see each one separately, and run a live game for a small group. Parents can link to their child’s account to follow along.
Ask About Pricing →Colleges and universities
College is on the grade picker. Students and instructors build guides from lecture slides saved as PDFs, readings and notes, and an instructor can run classes with assignments and live review, all from the course’s own material.
Ask About Pricing →Test-prep companies, adult education and ESL
Guides come from your own prep material, not from a bank of licensed exam questions. A guide is built in the language of its material (Spanish notes make a Spanish guide), while the app around it stays in English.
Ask About Pricing →School districts
Today each teacher sets up and manages their own classes; there is no district dashboard, roster sync or single sign-on yet. Tell us what your district needs and we will tell you plainly what is possible.
Ask About Pricing →How school pricing works
Tell us about your organization. Use the form below: your school or program, about how many teachers and students, and anything you would like us to know.
We reply by email with options. School pricing is by quote, so there is no price list here. We will write back with the options that fit what you tell us.
Teachers can start now. Any teacher can use the Free plan today, with 3 study guides in total and every game included. Students who join a teacher’s class never pay to play the guides shared with them.
Privacy and safety
- No ads and no data sales. AvaStudy does not run ads or sell personal information.
- In a class, a teacher sees only what the Privacy Policy lists, such as a student’s name and their progress and scores on assigned guides. A teacher never sees a student’s pet, coins, overall streak, other guides or personal practice history.
- Sign-up requires confirming the user is 13 or older, or that a parent or guardian is assisting.
- A teacher who sets up a class confirms they have the authority to enroll those students and any parental consent their school, district or local law requires.
- If your school needs a specific privacy agreement, say so in your request.
