How it works
Upload the PDF
Slides, a scanned handout, a study packet, a chapter. Multi-page files are read the whole way through.
It reads every page
AvaStudy works through the document and pulls out the terms, definitions and questions — not just the first page.
Your deck is ready
Flip through the cards immediately, or jump into quizzes and games built from the same PDF.
Getting the best result
Scanned PDFs need to be legible
A PDF made by scanning paper is really a stack of images. If the scan is sharp, AvaStudy reads it fine. If it is faint or skewed, expect fewer cards — photographing the original pages often works better than a bad scan.
Word and PowerPoint need converting first
.docx and .pptx are not read directly. Save or export as PDF and upload that — every tool that makes them can do it in one step.
Very large question banks take more than one pass
For a document with 50 or more questions in it, AvaStudy builds a pool and rotates through it across sessions, so you are not seeing the same ten cards every time.
One upload, 11 ways to study
Everything below is built from the same material — no extra work required.
