Study tools built from your material

AvaStudy helps students turn the notes, worksheets, photos, and PDFs they already have into flashcards, quizzes, and interactive games. The goal is simple: reduce setup work and make repeated practice easier to start.

Source-grounded by design

Study questions and answers are generated from the material a student provides. Game scoring uses the saved answer key, so rewards and progress are based on the study guide rather than a fresh AI judgment.

Built for active recall

AvaStudy presents the same concepts in multiple formats, including flashcards, quizzes, matching, typed answers, and short games. Results highlight concepts that need more practice.

Quality students can improve

Question and answer reporting is available from study activities. Reports help identify unclear, incorrect, or poorly generated content for review.

Privacy and safety

AvaStudy is ad-free, does not sell personal information, and makes account and study-guide deletion available inside the product. Shared study guides are private unless a user deliberately shares a code.

Transparent limits

AI-generated study content can make mistakes. Students should compare important material with their original source and teacher guidance, especially for high-stakes work.

Why I built this

My daughter Ava is a good student. She'd work with her mom and dad going through flashcards before tests — and it worked. But sometimes she'd get frustrated. Same cards, same routine, over and over.

One morning after a review session I couldn't stop thinking: there has to be a more fun, more creative way to go through a study guide. That same day I built a prototype. Two days later I showed it to her.

“How did you do that?”

— Ava

She's used AvaStudy on every study guide since and has gotten perfect to near-perfect grades. That's where the name comes from. If it can help others the way it's helped Ava, that's what it's for.
