AvaStudy stores only what's needed to save your child's progress and personalize learning — study guides, game history, coins, and account info. Uploaded content is private by default and never publicly visible. Payment info is handled by Stripe and never stored by us.

Sharing and Challenges

Challenge codes let friends or classmates join a shared study set
Shared study guides are only accessible to users with the invite code
Leaderboards and competitions may display usernames or pet names
To leave an accepted challenge, go to Study Sets and tap Leave on the shared set

Clears streak, game history, and weak-area tracking. Coins, badges, pet, and study guides stay.

Common Questions

Will my child be charged anything?↓

The free plan is completely free — no credit card required. The only charge is if you choose to subscribe at $6.99/month or $59.99/year for unlimited study guide uploads. Billing goes through Stripe's secure checkout and requires a credit card entered by an adult. Children cannot add a payment method or change billing on their own.

Are there in-app purchases or microtransactions?↓

No. Coins are earned by studying — correct answers, completing games, and daily streaks. They are spent on cosmetic items for the pet (background colors, hats, glasses, frames) and unlocking new animals. There is no way to buy coins with real money. No microtransactions, no loot boxes.

Can other users see my study guides?↓

No — study guides are private by default. They're only visible to others if you choose to share them with a share code.

Does AvaStudy show ads?↓

No. AvaStudy is completely ad-free. We don't show third-party ads to students or anyone else.

Can I delete uploads?↓

Yes — you can delete any study guide and its uploaded content at any time from the Study Sets page. Nothing is kept after deletion.

Is my information sold?↓

No. We never sell personal information to third parties. Full stop.
